Of History?

It
is very sad that the situation is like this, let's admit it. But we
live in a time when people, loaded with Noble Prizes, doubt they are
on the good path, or that (precisely as a result of their deeds ) European
Civilization will survive for another 7,000 or 10,000 years until the
ice age is to come. This is the way things happen when reality is given
too much importance. And where has the primacy of possible over reality
taken you? First of all - I would say - to a blind confidence in this
world, bad or good, as it is. You say we have no history, but we have
a protohistory of approximately 5,000 years behind us, and so, with
'laxity' (ease) we believe that there are another 5,000 years before
us'... 'Once, in the past centuries, Transylvanian Romanians were but
anonymous people. Three other nations formed the Unio trium nationum
neglecting the fourth nation. But when they uttered Unio trium nationum
they were speaking precisely the language understood solely by the fourth,
anonymous nation which inherited this language. Then history happened
as it did. '
